The fairplay camp in Carinthia, 17.-20.8.22
Date: Wednesday, 17 August until Saturday 20 August 2022
Accommodation: HTC - Trainings Center, Waagstraße 16, 9170 Ferlach
Background
fairplay, the initiative for diversity and anti-discrimination in sport, is organising a "fairplay camp" for the first time. In this camp, youths and young adults between the ages of 16 and 20 will have the opportunity to get to know and try out the methods and contents of fairplay's educational programme.
At the fairplay camp, long-standing workshop leaders will pass on their expertise and experience to the participating youths and young adults. The participants will thus be familiarised with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the concept of sport for sustainable development. Furthermore, they gain insight into the topics of anti-discrimination, social inclusion and human rights. The practical instruction of fair play methods and training exercises is just as much in the foreground as a varied supporting programme.
The aim is to give the participants an insight into work and training with children and young people and to integrate them in the long term into further educational offers (training, camps, tours, workshops) or to motivate them for independent project ideas.
